Owning a Cat Can Help You Heal From Narcissistic Abuse

Sharing is caring

Last week, I posted an article describing how staying in an abusive relationship with a Narcissist can cause you to experience adrenal fatigue, shorten your life span, and make you more susceptible to diseases such as cancer.Β  On average, the damage a Narcissist inflicts on your psyche (which in turn, causes physiological damage) can subtract up to eight years or more from your life span.

If you have recently empowered yourself by leaving your Narcissist (or plan to in the near future), you can build your longevity back up by owning a cat.Β  While owning pets in general can work wonders for calming nerves and improving lives, a cat’s purr creates vibrations within a range of 20-140 Hz, proven to be medically beneficial for many illnesses.Β  These are the same frequencies used in Theta healing, a holistic healing technique using quantum physics to access healingΒ energy vibrations.

Allergic? Β Not crazy about Fluffy? Β No worries, there are many videos on the internet that can provide you with comparable results, such as the one below:

I wrote that the start of my awakening to Narcissism actually started with one cat…it seems that it wasn’t such an off the wall belief afterall…thanks and glad I came across you as its good to see others showing awareness to the disease

I hear you πŸ™‚ I cannot imagine what it’s like to have a narcissistic parent. I hope you don’t take anything she says to heart. I know a blogger who completely cut ties with her parents for her own sanity.

You are a good soul. I’m glad you are here for us πŸ™‚

Oh, and by the way…Cats Rock!!

That’s amazing. I’ve really been wanting a cat lately, too. I saw a nice fat black cat hanging out as chill as can be in a neighbor’s yard the other day. I wanted to stop and ask if he/she had an owner.

My boys and I just got a cat back in the summer. In addition to the healing purr, they can keep you laughing with their silly antics…especially a young cat πŸ™‚
